Our Vision
A quality education has certain fundamental characteristics: it is based on standards, has clear objectives, and defined procedures. Ongoing assessment and reflection are also key components of a quality education. In other words, Standards, Procedures, Assessment and Contemplation in Education (SPACE) is a continuous cycle that is needed for any successful educational system.
The institutionalization of education all over the world has resulted in the compromise of these key components as schools may hire well-meaning though, at times, unqualified teachers or teachers who are well-qualified in terms of subject knowledge but who lack sound educational methodology and/or experiential knowledge. Contrastingly, teachers may find themselves working with institutions that do not – or even cannot – provide the support their teachers need to face the needs of their students and the parents. All the while, it is the students, parents and community who lose out in the end. Realizing this phenomenon in their own teaching contexts, East Meets West (EMW) Educational Services, LLC was established with the focus on “making SPACE” for quality in educational institutions.
Servicing teachers, school administrators and institutions alike, EMW provides support that helps get school back on track to helping students. With carefully designed professional development programs, we help teachers focus on areas important to classroom instruction, such as developing strong classroom management skills and enhancing lesson delivery techniques and principles.
On the administrative level, EMW provides consultation on how institutions can establish clear objectives, standards, and procedures for themselves, their teachers and other areas of the institution as well as how they can regularly assess and contemplate on them. EMW also provides a host of other educational services, among them are English language training and curriculum development, all with the focus of helping teachers and institutions fulfill their enormous responsibility of providing a quality education to the students of their respective communities.

To provide quality educational services to teachers, administrators and institutions who desire to deliver a quality education to the students and parents of their respective communities by providing educational services that assist in the definition of clear learning objectives, the establishment of sound educational standards, the consistent implementation of appropriate procedures, the ongoing assessment of the various facets of the educational environment, and a culture of contemplation and reflection on the educational system as a whole as well as on the individual components of which that system is comprised.
